(KNSI) – St. Cloud-based Coborn’s, Inc. has won an award for their creative promotion of family mealtime.
Coborn’s won the 2020 FMI Foundation’s Gold Plate Award for their dietician led virtual cooking class series. Dieticians Amy Petersen and Emily Parent hosted two virtual classes for 116 kids teaching meal preparation while using the company’s private brand products that are nutritious and affordable. September is National Family Meals Month, and the classes are part of the Kids Cook at Home initiative.
In a statement sent to KNSI, Coborn’s says, “The FMI Foundation provides programming for National Family Meals Month that includes a creative means for retailers to engage families in family meal benefits. Coborn’s, Inc. is proud to participate in this program, fostering its mission of inspiring happiness, healthy living and simplicity, one guest at a time.”
